Job Summary
MeridianLink a leading fintech company is in need of an experienced sales engineer. Our Automated Loan and Deposit Account Origination Division is growing and looking to add motivated professionals to assist in our sales efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for presenting both remote and an occasional onsite demonstration of our Automated Loan and Deposit Origination platforms (ML Consumer and Opening ) for our Banking and Credit Union accounts. In addition, they will assist the sale representative in evaluating the needs of the prospect and designing strategies that will demonstrate how the platform can meet and exceed the needs of the client. We are looking for an individual that has experience in sales engineering and the consumer lending and deposit account industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Learn the technical details concerning our platform and identify what problems it solves for our clients
•Assist the sales representative in discovery sessions with the prospect to create value positions to be reinforced in the demonstration
•Complete RFI and RFP proposals in a professional and timely manor
•When available, travel onsite to present the solution and to answer technical questions that may arise
•Understand additional complimentary modules so they can be incorporated in the demonstrations
•Achieve sales quotas and close ratios
QUALIFICATIONS
•Previous sales engineering experience
•Excellent communication and presentations skills
•Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field required
•Previous SaaS experience within the consumer lending or Account Opening space
•Familiarity with the Banking or Credit Union Industry is a Plus

Base salary range of $90,000 with commission potential of $30,000. [It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.] The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law including geographical location.
