Position Summary
Location: Atlanta - Remote

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sales Engineer to act as an SME supporting the companyโs Software Engineering team with detailed technical responses to government-issued procurements. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of the government-sponsored lottery industry and understand the business at a macro level.
The position will be responsible for conveying complex ideas and detailed technical content related to lottery technology solutions for inclusion in formal responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). This individual will work closely with various distributed technology teams to gather necessary information and coordinate with the Global Proposals team to produce this content in support of SGโs bid responses. The content must effectively address specific needs and be compliant with requirements stated in each RFP while following a central easy-to-follow, customer-focused narrative.
Responsibilities:
RFP Analysis: Thoroughly review and analyze RFP documents to understand client requirements, evaluation criteria, and submission guidelines.
Content Creation: Source and develop high-quality written content for use in RFP responses, including executive summaries, technical solutions, implementation plans, and pricing strategies.
Collaboration: Collaborate with subject matter experts, sales teams, proposal managers, writers and other stakeholders to gather relevant information and ensure accuracy as well as completeness of proposals.
Customization: Customize proposal content to align with client needs and preferences, highlighting the unique value proposition of SGโs lottery technology solutions.
Compliance: Ensure content complies with all RFP requirements and industry standards such as MUSL, WLA, and GLI.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews and edits to ensure proposal content is well-written, cohesive, and aligns with the product being offered.
Proposal Management: Manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables to the Global Proposals team to ensure timely submission of high-quality bids.
Documentation: Maintain a repository of technical content, templates, and best practices for future reference and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- 5 Years of lottery-industry experience
- Thorough understanding of basic lottery products and typical platforms
- Expertise in software, infrastructure, public cloud, networking and terminals/kiosks
