Sales Engineer
Job Description
As a Coalesce.io Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales efforts by leveraging your technical expertise and exceptional communication skills. Collaborating closely with the sales team, you will be the bridge between our technology and our clients, delivering compelling technical demonstrations and guiding customers towards successful implementations. Your ability to showcase the value and capabilities of Coalesce.io's offerings will be instrumental in driving growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in technical discussions with prospective clients to understand their unique challenges and data requirements.
- Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations, showcasing the capabilities and features of Coalesce.io's solutions.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their data ecosystem, workflows, and integration points, providing tailored solutions to address their needs.
- Craft and present technical proposals that effectively communicate the benefits of Coalesce.io's technology in solving complex business problems.
- Serve as the technical liaison between clients and internal teams, conveying customer feedback and contributing to product enhancement discussions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position Coalesce.io's offerings.
- Continuously build expertise in Coalesce.io's technical features, use cases, and integration possibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven track record as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar technical sales role.
- Strong technical understanding of data engineering concepts, ETL processes, and data transformation methodologies.
- Proficiency in SQL and demonstrated experience working with Snowflake and the Snowflake partner ecosystem.
- Experience designing and developing Jinja templates for data transformation.
- Robust grasp of data engineering concepts and adeptness in ETL processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a consultative approach to understanding and addressing customer challenges.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven mindset with a focus on driving customer success.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support customer engagements and attend industry events.
