Sales Engineer (F&B)

Description

As the (F&B) Sales Engineer for Agilysys, your primary responsibility will be to support the Sales team as a trusted product leader throughout the sales process. You will proactively scope and assess the proper solution required to address customer's requirements and recommend solutions that optimize value for both the customer and Agilysys.

Your duties will include:

• Product Demonstrations & Presentations
• Pre-Sales Support (Requirements Gathering, Solution Definition & RFP Responses)
• Company Promotion (Trade Shows & Conferences)
• Research & Development Support (Product Requirements & Opportunity Reviews)
• Maintain sales demo environment

Requirements for success:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
• 3-5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or related customer-facing experience
• Expert knowledge of POS
• Deep industry knowledge in the Hotel, Resort, Casino and/or Cruise industries
• Road Warrior: 50%+ travel required
• Coordinates closely with internal sales and service resources to align solution design with customer's business requirements.
• Opportunistically pursue and collaborates with sales to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and advanced
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Enthusiastic personality and a passion for sales
