Job SummaryÂ
The Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting sales into new prospects as well as farming back into existing customers to ensure high renewal and customer satisfaction levels. Measures of success include new customer acquisition rates, renewal rates, up-selling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction and contribution to overall sales team and business success.

Expected base salary range
Depending on location and experience of candidate: $75,000 -115,000/year base pay plus incentiveÂ
Responsibilities / Essential FunctionsÂ

Support sales teams with solution selling into prospect account baseÂ

Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cyclesÂ

Model the financial business case associated with each sales opportunityÂ
-
Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutionsÂ
-
Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value propositionÂ
-
Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responsesÂ
-
Effectively communicate client needs to the Product teams for future product enhancementsÂ
-
Collect and document competitive intelligenceÂ
-
Lead or participate in projects as assignedÂ
-
Supports marketing activities by attending trade shows, webinars, conferences and other marketing events.Â
RequirementsÂ

At least bachelorâs level educationÂ
-
At least 3+ years of SaaS Sales Engineering experience

Prior knowledge or experience working with PairSoft products strongly preferredÂ
-
Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communicationÂ
-
Experience developing and delivering presentations both to executive-level and working-level audiencesÂ
-
Ability to translate technical features into business benefits or vice versaÂ
-
Ability to recommend strategic workflows and policies as it relates to product solutionsÂ

Analytical and a knack for problem solving, with high attention to detailÂ

Expert at MS Office Suite solutionsÂ

Willingness to travel occasionally (up to10%) in support of sales pursuits and Marketing eventsÂ
