Position Summary
The Sales Executive – Jenzabar SONIS is responsible for the overall sales strategy and customer success in their assigned sales territory. The specified assigned territory will include current customers and prospects.  The primary responsibility of this role is to grow new business and retain all existing customers assigned to them.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops and executes sales and customer success strategies designed to achieve revenue goals and demonstrate consistent and predictable performance
- Prepares and presents quarter, half year and annual business plans as requested
- Works collaboratively with a defined set of specific existing SONIS customers as assigned to improve customer retention, expand relationships and recommend upgrades and/or new point solutions
- Follows up new business opportunities and responds to qualified RFP’s as assigned
- Demonstrates ability to build strong executive relationships and sell within traditional IT and non-IT business units
- Plans, prepares and coordinates all sales and customer success related activities from executive presentations to product demonstrations
- Ability to communicate software enhancements/benefits for a product overview, high level SONIS Demo
- Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty with prospects throughout and after the sale to ensure a successful implementation and maximum customer satisfaction
- Manages complex sales situations, influencing prospects and customers to resolve potential problems by using your knowledge of complex business challenges to identify solutions
- Prepares and delivers proposals and contracts according to pricing and approval procedures Â
- Remains knowledgeable about Jenzabar’s products and services to facilitate sales and customer success efforts
- Other related tasks as assigned
- 25% to 50% travel is anticipated
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- Substantial experience in complex consultative software and services sales
- Experience in Higher Education preferred OR the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Recent and sustained over-quota achievement
- Demonstrated career stability
- Basic understanding of contracts and terms & conditions
- Excellent presentation skills (to various audiences - executives & individual contributors)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other desktop applications
- A passion for winning
The pay range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, geographic location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for commissions in addition to a full range of benefits. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed.
