Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and growing our customer base. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the North American market, extensive experience in B2B sales, and a proven track record of success in selling automation solutions. The OTE potential of the position is excellent, and the company is going through a scaling period globally which will provide strong support for further market penetration.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share in the North American market
  • Generate new business opportunities through prospecting and networking
  • Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Provide timely, differentiated and effective solutions aligned with clients' needs
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop unique sales collateral and ensure effective product positioning in the market
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the management team
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to promote the company and its product

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience and a proven track record either within sales and business development for logistics products or systems, 3PLs sales, or supply chain consulting firm
  • Experience in selling into the North American market is essential
  • Focus on customer success and support
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to travel within the North American region
