We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Event Sponsorship Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. As an Event Sponsorship SE, you will play a crucial role in securing sponsorship deals for our events portfolio. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and engage potential sponsors, negotiate sponsorship packages, and build long-term relationships with clients. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong sales background, and a passion for events and sponsorships.
This role needs solid sales experience with (large) events background and large scale event production experience. You must hit the ground running on sponsorships!

Within 1 month, you will:ÂIdentify and prospect potential sponsors:
- Conduct market research to identify potential sponsors for our events.
- Utilize various sources, such as online directories, industry publications, and networking events, to generate leads.
- Develop a deep understanding of sponsors' needs, goals, and target audience to tailor sponsorship proposals.
Collaborate with internal teams:
- Coordinate closely with the marketing, events, and operations teams to ensure successful execution of sponsorships.
- Communicate sponsors' requirements and expectations to relevant teams to ensure deliverables are met.
- Collaborate on marketing collateral, including sponsorship decks, promotional materials, and on-site branding.
Pitch and negotiate sponsorship packages:
- Create compelling sponsorship proposals that highlight the benefits and value of partnering with our events.
- Present proposals to potential sponsors, emphasizing how sponsorship aligns with their marketing objectives.
- Negotiate sponsorship terms, including financial investments, branding opportunities, and event deliverables.
Build and maintain client relationships:
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with sponsors, acting as their primary point of contact throughout the sponsorship cycle.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries, concerns, or requests from sponsors promptly and professionally.
- Continuously assess sponsors' satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or renewals.
Within 12 months, you will:Â
Meet sales targets and reporting:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve individual sales targets.
- Regularly track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and sponsorship revenue via Salesforce.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to budget planning.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven track record in sponsorship sales, business development, or related sales rolesÂ
- Within Endemic and Non-Endemic Clients. Client Direct & Agencies
- Experience in outdoor/action sports/active lifestyle
- Proven experience on a team that has sold 7-8 figure deals (1M-10M+ contract value)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand sponsors' marketing objectives and tailor sponsorship packages accordingly.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Entirely remote jobs that could be performed in Colorado: Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $68,000 to $100,000. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission. Other benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, Flexible Time Away, sick leave, and many more. The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for this role, and may vary based on market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
