We are looking for a candidate to develop and maintain strong relationships with the assigned portfolio of accounts, leading relationship-building activities across multiple departments, including, but not limited to, customer leadership, procurement, finance, technical, engineering, and operational teams. Drive sustainable revenue and profit growth by developing and implementing a comprehensive plan to significantly increase World Kinect market activity in the assigned area through all relevant business offerings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Achieve and exceed annual sales volume and gross profit for the assigned region, growing sales portfolio by following the business plan and strategy.
- Develop an unmistakable understanding of the market and customer dynamics in the assigned region, staying abreast of upcoming changes and relevant opportunities.
- Develop, refine, and execute a strategic plan for the assigned portfolio, including market analysis of new and emerging customers, existing pipeline management, customer relationship management, and proposal and contract management.
- Develop relationships with customers and assist them with business development opportunities.
- Maintain customer relationships through visits, expanding network, raising awareness of World Kinect services offerings and opportunities, and problem-solving issues to enhance business.
- Diversify portfolio with significant new customers and expand service offerings with existing customers.
- Customer advocate, responsible for managing and collaborating across multi-disciplinary internal and external teams, working closely with fuel sales and dispatch teams, credit, vendor management, and 3rd party vendors.
- Foster and maintain excellent relationships with the operations team and fuel sales representatives to provide the best possible end service to the customer.
- Develop and negotiate technically sound and competitive proposals, incorporating detailed knowledge of World Kinect value add, customer needs and buying patterns, and competitor strategies and pricing tendencies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years experience in the aviation/aerospace industry, preferably in sales, business development, or operations.
- B2B sales experience within the aviation industry.
- Knowledgeable in commercial, military, and specialty flight operations and aircraft.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain trusting relationships with customers, colleagues, and external strategic partnerships.
- Successful track record achieving and exceeding goals.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:
- Frequent travel, sometimes on short notice; travel is an integral part of successful job performance; may be required to travel to remote locations.
