Sales Executive, New Accounts (REMOTE)

The Sales Executive, New Accounts is responsible for growing the service contract business. The primary objective for this position is to identify and enroll customers in service contracts over the phone. Once enrolled, the Associate is responsible for transitioning the customer to their Account Manager who then maintains the business. Successful Sales Executives will build strong partnerships with their Account Managers to identify opportunities and grow the service contract business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Grow the service contract business in assigned territory by enrolling new customers in service contracts before successfully transitioning customers to an Account Manager who maintains the business
- Partner with Account Managers to identify new opportunities for new enrollments of equipment not previously covered under a service contract
- Leverage systems such as Microsoft Dynamics and SAP to effectively identify opportunities
- Follow-up with cold and warm leads to enroll customer equipment into service contracts
- Follow-up with expired service contracts to identify re-enrollment opportunities
- Document customer interactions in CRM
- Be willing to travel up to 5% of the time
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
- 3 + years over the phone/Inside Sales experience required
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Experience selling service level contracts
- Experience with manufacturer's warranties and extended warranties
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Dynamics
- 3 + years' experience of self-generating leads
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in ERP and CRM systems preferred
- Excellent Oral and Written Communications Skills
- Excellent Collaborative Behavior Skills
- Well spoken, organized, self-motivated, and ambitious
- Consistently ranks in the top tier at previous sales jobs
- Able to navigate multiple computer tabs/screens
- Competitive and thrives in a sales environment
- Scripted Environment - Have the ability to follow a script, but make it your own
- Competitive Spirit - Desire to succeed and be the best you can be
- Polished, energetic, a hunter in business development, and exude professionalism
- Must enjoy competition in a quota-driven sales environment
- Strong communication and tenacity-no fear of the phone and a solid performance history of meeting sales goals over the phone
