Primary Function
Responsible for producing revenue through the sale of services and in-house developed products into new "greenfield" enterprise accounts and generating net new business through the sale of professional services and software. The Sales Representative will also be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing "up-sell/cross-sell" opportunities in existing customer accounts. Demonstrate exceptional communication and writing skills, strong interpersonal skills, deep understanding of a solution sale lifecycle and the ability to close sales. Be self-motivated, organized, and able to multi-task.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed assigned quotas through the sale of solutions and software that address customer business requirements.
- Follow up on referrals and new leads in a timely fashion.
- Coordinate sales activities with Marketing and Business Development to maximize lead generation activities.
- Strong business development experience, with a demonstrated ability to identify new sales opportunities and convert them into customers.
- Proven ability to negotiate and close complex deals.
- Provide on-time and accurate/realistic sales forecasts.
- Communicate with Technical and Professional Services personnel and other departments as necessary, and provide them with direction, support, and leadership throughout the sales cycle.
- Represent FDI Digital Transformation offerings, solutions, and product expertise.
- Contact new customer base to sell additional solutions.
- Provide feedback to Marketing and Product Management regarding customer requirements, potential new features, effective messaging, and product positioning.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of products and sales methodologies.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, demos, and sales contracts.
- Establish and maintain new and established client relationships.
- Inform and contribute to company growth strategy and market proposition.
- Other duties as assigned/required.
Skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong and productive working relationships with customers/clients, including the ability to establish client trust.
- Self-directed, with the ability to plan your own activities to achieve sales goals.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship management skills, with applied techniques, tools, and systems to successfully close numerous solution sales.
- Be calm, focused, and exhibit strong teaming characteristics, with applied experience in engaging technical experts and delivery leadership to appropriately establish client expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate crucial conversations with target prospects, as well as enterprise procurement organizations.
- Demonstrated sales ability with track record of enterprise level sales success across multiple regulated industries (desired experience in Financial Services, Health Care, Energy, Gov't).
- Possesses a positive, "create" attitude and exemplary work ethic.
- Working knowledge of common software and sales applications; including MS Office Applications, Video Conferencing software, LNKD Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Salesforce
- Demonstrated expertise in strategy and execution of the following subject matter expertise: Data Management, ETL, Archiving, Document Capture, Document Storage Management, Application Retirement, Content Storage & Repurposing.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time as required by business needs.
Experience & Education & Benefits
Experience
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in enterprise data management sales.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or experience in related field are preferred.

This position is also eligible for commission 50/50 split with base and commission. example: 125k base with 125k commission
