We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our sales initiatives related to a high-profile Fund project. This pivotal role requires a unique blend of expertise in both traditional finance sectors and the cryptocurrency sphere, particularly involving institutional knowledge of funds and blockchain technology. The ideal candidate will drive the sales process, targeting crypto treasuries and Qualified Purchaser (QP) investors, leveraging their deep understanding of crypto assets and blockchain technology to provide a seamless onboarding experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to attract and onboard high-net-worth entities, targeting a minimum investment threshold of +$5 million.
- Have a list of telegram contacts that are the who's who in crypto, especially blockchains that have large treasuries
- Leverage comprehensive knowledge of blockchain technology, crypto assets, and digital wallet security to educate and guide potential investors through the intricacies of a large Fund structure.
- Ensure a seamless, high-touch onboarding process, coordinating with the investor support team to facilitate the completion of enhanced due diligence, in line with fund requirements.
- Build a robust pipeline of prospective clients through effective lead generation strategies, personal networking, and insights into the crypto and financial sectors.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key individuals and decision-makers in crypto institutions, positioning Securitize as a premier investment opportunity as their go-to platform for tokenized investment opportunities.
- Design and implement comprehensive business plans that expand the company's investor base, focusing specifically on crypto-native entities and high-net-worth institutions.
- In partnership with the Investor onboarding team, navigate the complexities of the crypto space to onboard investors, providing an exceptional, white-glove service experience, especially during the rigorous due diligence phases.
- Remain abreast of the latest trends, breakthroughs, and regulatory shifts in the cryptocurrency and fintech industries, adjusting sales strategies accordingly to maintain competitive advantage.
- Serve as a product expert for alternative fund products, with an in-depth understanding of investment strategies, performance, and risk characteristics.
- Manage and build relationships with potential clients across multiple segments, working to understand their investment goals and identifying opportunities to grow Securitize's AUM.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Must have Crypto/Digital Asset management experience
- Must have experience working in a high growth environment
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in a sales management role within the financial services industry
- Must have FINRA Series 7, 63 or 66
- Proven track record in dealing with institutional clients, RIAs, Family Offices, Asset Managers, and High-net-worth individuals.
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to cryptocurrency.
- Strong background in cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and digital asset security.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to navigate complex compliance and regulatory requirements within the financial sector.
- Experience with fund structures, management fees, and other related operational aspects, including aspects such as compliance adherence, investor reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Ability to operate independently, with a strong sense of initiative, drive, and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to persuade and influence thought leaders and decision-makers.
- Profound market intelligence and networking skills in the crypto and finance industries.
