Philips is looking for a Sales Incentive Analysis Manager to lead Data Analytics and Reporting for the Sales Incentive Operations team in the North America region. You will lead the Analytics strategy, Operational analytics, and Data analytics for a high-performance customer-facing organization. To be successful, you will have a strong analytical background, experience in process design and a great ability to use data to tell stories. You have a good understanding of the sales operations domain. Knowledge and experience in Sales Readiness and Sales Commissions management is a definite plus.
Your role:
Support the Sales Incentive Administration and the Sales Readiness teams in driving key processes to facilitate sales planning. You will drive decision-making by partnering with the Commissions Manager in setup and execution. Key responsibilities will be performance reporting, commission analysis and strategic planning activities specific to compensation plans and the integration of new initiatives into key reporting processes across multiple Sales organizations. You will also play a key role in driving the ongoing sales information management to enable commissions and identify opportunities to optimize existing processes to enhance the timeliness and quality of the commission's execution. You will be a key member of the Sales Incentive Operations team.
Compensation Reporting and analytics
- Define, implement, monitor and report on KPIs. Set up strong Daily/Monthly Management practices.
- Manage MBR/QBRs with Senior Sales Leaders
- Identify and correct data issues impacting sales compensation by working with cross-functional business and IT architects
- Play a key role in providing requirements, data elements, and recommendations for technical system builds and enhancements.
Compensation Payment Processing
- Prepare and Manage Executive Compensation Committee meetings which preside on exceptions to Standard Sales Incentive Terms and Conditions. The responsibility will include analysis of the issue, extracting relevant data and enabling leadership decision-making. A point of view based on data and precedence setting is extremely valued.
- Interface with sales management, sales operations, data providers, and Customer Fulfillment Center team to review and analyze data to ensure sales reps are accurately credited for transactions
- Responsible for monthly and quarterly sales compensation accruals and reconciliations, using both Excel and compensation tool
Compensation Auditing and Issue Resolution
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders in researching, addressing, and resolving compensation disputes, and apply new processes to avoid further discrepancies. The focus of the role would be to identify patterns to create strong internal controls and processes.
- Support audit deliverables related to compensation payouts and provide assistance related to Sarbanes-Oxley testing of sales compensation processes.
- Correspond with VP's, Directors, Managers and Payees regarding payments and administration of the governing plans.
Compensation Process and Tools Management/Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement and make recommendations for changes to compensation systems to ensure timely and accurate payments
- Identify data sources and opportunities for additional automation and/or process streamlining
- Subject matter expertise on complex processes or issues to compensation payment review and analysis
- Lead or participate, as required, in developing and delivering training materials on compensation policies, processes and systems to sales teams

You're the right fit if:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in the field of compensation; MBA or Masters in relevant area is highly preferred
- 7+ years of experience with sales operations or sales compensation administration for a complex business with multiple compensation plans
- Strong PC/Technical Skills Required: Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SQL, Data mining and Big Data analytics skills.
- Demonstrated experience with functionality and operations of Anaplan compensation software (preferred, but not required)
- Commitment to excellence with a passion for strong customer service focus with the ability to drive change management and integration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of management across the organization, including negotiation and influence skills
- Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting and conflict resolution
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solutions oriented approach to challenges
- Collaborates effectively across partners and stakeholders to align compensation process work, reporting, direction and execution
- Ability to act independently and exercise independent judgment and discretion within generally defined practices and policies to carry out responsibilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing multiple projects and strict deadlines
