Sales Incentive Analyst

Position Purpose: The Sales Incentive Analyst is responsible for all aspects of sales incentives (CA, OR, AZ) processing and ensures Sales associate are correctly compensated according to the guidelines of the current sales plan. Handles complex sales incentives issues.
- Analyzes sales incentives plans for CA, OR, and AZ and develops compensation calculations. Ensures Sales Associates are compensated correctly per their sales goals and incentive plan.
- Participates in the establishment and review of departmental guidelines for sales incentive payment. Provides analytical support by identifying issues. Recommends and implements new procedures.
- Coordinates and monitors daily activities of other sales incentives analysts to maintain accurate and current sales incentives commission payouts. (i.e., backlogs, reports, processing changes, meeting target dates).
- Provides guidance to other sales incentive analysts for resolving complex sales incentive commission issues and audits.
- Handles elevated call/issues for sales incentives before supervisor intervention.
- Tracks and report variances in sales incentive payouts and the potential impact to meeting target dates.
- Prepares weekly and month-end reports, and provides critical data on the performance of key standards.
- Interacts with Sales management to provide customer support on any commissions/related inquiries.
- Performs internal validations for broker commissions to ensure compliance with sox controls.
- Trains new associates and acts a subject matter expert for new and less experienced associates.
- Assists in completion of special projects or other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Must have minimum 5 years accounting, financial reporting or commissions experience.
- HMO or insurance company accounting experience preferred.
- Experience extracting and manipulating large data sets using Access and Excel
Pay Range: $25.97 - $46.68 per hour

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
