We’re seeking a Sales Insights Manager to join our team. Reporting to the VP, Head of Sales Operations, you will be critical in enhancing sales productivity through data analytics and process optimizations.
A Day in the Life
As the Senior Sales Insights Manager, you will work directly with our Sales Leadership Team, responsible for managing and providing critical operational data, reporting, and insights. You will develop and manage our internal reports and use data-driven insights to improve our sales processes to maximize sales team results. You will be working with our Account Directors & Managers in close collaboration with our Sales Leadership Team to identify areas of improvement and implement best practice sales enablement & training processes and systems to increase sales activity and output.
In this role, you will:
- Monitor and improve sales productivity: Analyze sales data and metrics to identify areas of improvement, develop actionable insights, and implement strategies to enhance sales performance.
- Oversee tracking of strategic sales initiatives: Collaborate with the sales leadership team to identify growth opportunities, develop and execute strategic plans, and track the execution of initiatives.
- Provide data-driven insights: Generate reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate sales performance, trends, and forecasts to stakeholders. Use data analysis to identify patterns, customer behavior, and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Optimize sales structures: Evaluate and enhance the sales team structures and collaboration, ensuring alignment with business goals. Manage the annual territory planning, quota allocations, and compensation models with the sales leadership team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with the Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Onboarding, and Finance teams to align sales strategies with overall company objectives. Contribute insights and expertise to drive integrated initiatives and maximize revenue growth.
- Drive sales process improvements: To ensure efficiency and effectiveness, assess and optimize the sales process, from lead generation to conversion to renewal. Implement best practices, tools, and technologies to streamline workflows.

On Your Resume
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data visualization and extracting insights from large datasets (e.g., in Excel, Salesforce, Looker, Tableau, SQL)
- Successful track record in sales operations, sales analytics, business operations, or strategy (e.g., from a similar role within the SaaS industry or consulting)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to synthesize complex analysis to a variety of stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements by identifying bottlenecks, proposing solutions, and obtaining stakeholder buy-in
- Proven experience in managing complex cross-functional projects and driving outcomes
- Experience with Salesforce in the EdTech industry is a plus

The starting salary for this role is between $90,000 - $130,000, depending on skills and experience. We take a geo-neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job function and level, not location. We have competitive pay bands for all other countries based on market standards. Individual compensation decisions are based on several factors, including experience level, skill set, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. Based on these factors, we expect most candidates offered roles at our company to fall healthily throughout the range. We recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description, as posted. If so, the updated salary range will be communicated to you as a candidate.
