Responsibilities
We are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Sales Lead to join our leading capital markets FinTech in New York. As a Sales Lead at Sharegain, you will be responsible for qualifying new sales opportunities, working closely with the sales team to develop strategies and tactics to target key accounts and decision-makers, getting meetings with decision makers, and guiding prospects through the buying process.
- Use a variety of outreach methods, including phone calls, emails, and social media, to generate interest and qualify leads
- Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute strategies to reach key accounts and decision-makers
- Develop a deep understanding of our products and services and be able to articulate the value proposition to prospects
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and demos with prospects
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and interactions in Salesforce
- Continuously improve and optimize the sales process to increase conversion rates and revenue
- Accelerate the buyer's journey from unaware to consideration
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a Sales role as the owner of the full sales cycle
- Experience in capital markets is strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 and a clean record with no disclosures, or a commitment to obtain licenses within the first few months of employment
- Experience in a consultative selling environment
- Proven track record of generating leads and guiding prospects through the sales cycle
- Familiarity and comfortability operating in a longer-term sales cycle
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce or HubSpot)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Great storytelling skills
- Exceptional active listening skills
