Sales Lead Development Specialist
Job Description
The Sales Lead Development Specialist is responsible for qualifying marketing-generated leads and ultimately converting prospects into sales-ready business-to-business leads. You will engage with prospects through outbound calls, emails and other communication channels, presenting Planar products and services while building strong relationships to drive sales growth.
What you'll do:Β
- Prospect and qualify leads using a variety of communication techniques. Continuously nurture and follow-up with leads, addressing inquiries and providing necessary information to move prospects through the sales pipeline
- Utilize Salesforce to track and manage prospect interactions, activities and progress toward converting leads to opportunities
- Engage with prospects through website live chat, addressing questions and providing information about products and services to quickly move prospects into the sales pipeline
- Work closely with Regional Account Mangers and Vertical Business Development Teams to hand-off qualified leads for project follow-up
- Work with Marketing to develop lead generation campaigns
- Report weekly lead qualification results and objectives
- Support Salesforce data integrity projects as needed
What you'll bring:
- Strong phone presence with natural ability to connect and engage prospects with and develop rapport quickly. Comfortable with a high volume of daily outbound calling
- Excellent writing skills with strong attention to detail and ability to write professional, personalized emails to prospects
- Self-starter with a hunter mentality who can work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to understand basics of display technology
- B2B sales experience, preferably outbound calling (minimum of 12 months)
- Experience working with a CRM, preferably Salesforce
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
