Broadridge is growing! We're looking for a Sales Lead Generation Specialist to join our dynamic team based in Deer Park, NY. This team is a part of our Global Sales, Marketing, and Solutions Organization. In this role, you will be responsible for contacting current and potential customers to generate and qualify leads, promote products and services, and identify sales opportunities. You will use your skills to clearly and persuasively articulate Broadridge's value proposition, offerings, and capabilities, and assess the viability of a lead, determining how and where it should be escalated amongst the broader sales organization.

We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remotely.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contact current and potential customers to promote products or services via telephone and/or email
  • Deliver promotional presentations to current and prospective customers
  • Explain products or services and answer questions from customers
  • Maintain records of customer accounts and contacts via Broadforce (salesforce.com), recording names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects contacted
  • Identify potential customers and generate qualified sales leads
  • Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals
  • Answer telephone calls from potential customers
  • Schedule appointments for sales representatives to meet with prospective customers or for customers to attend sales presentations
  • Conduct client or market surveys to obtain information about potential customers

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-2 years of experience in related role
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience creating and delivering presentations required
  • Experience in client services, or sales support role a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to talk with others and convey information effectively
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking persuasively, so others will understand and change their perspective and/or consider other perspectives
  • Ability to listen actively, hearing and displaying understanding of customers' concerns
  • Must be service oriented and demonstrate capability to actively look for ways to help
