Job Description

Skimmer is seeking a fun, competitive, thoughtful sales pro. Your (first) mission will be to drive customer adoption of our outstanding Skimmer Billing product among our existing customer base of 4,200+ customers. You'll be responsible and accountable for closing leads while meeting quota. You'll be responsible for owning and managing your pipeline. Presuming a successful first 60 days in the role, you'll be expected to assess the next appropriate hire and grow into a quota carrying sales manager role. In short, the ideal candidate will have had experience doing B2B full cycle SaaS sales to SMB customers, and experience upselling existing customers.
You have a toolbelt of sales skills, prior success in sales roles, strong preparation and work ethic, passion, curiosity, and leadership skills.
Onboarding & Training
  • Get to know and love Skimmer, our awesome web and mobile app
  • Get to know our customers - pool and spa service professionals - the hardest working people you'll ever meet
  • Shadow our amazing Customer Support Heroes and understand how we meet our customers where they are
  • Monitor the Early Release launch of Skimmer Billing
    • Discover customer profiles of early adopters, and their critical use case
    • Understand and strategize around customer objections
    • Put together a strategy to maximize Total Processing Volume from our existing base of customers
    • Develop activity based metrics and goals in collaboration with the Director of Operations; meet those metrics and log activity into CRM

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities (Fully Ramped)
  • Effectively segment and prioritize prospecting efforts
  • Understand the competitive landscape and determine how to best position Skimmer in the market
  • Working with Marketing, develop scalable campaigns to nurture prospects in order to engage at key points in the buyer's journey
  • Contact our customers through cold calls and emails
  • Qualify customers and marketing leads as Skimmer Billing opportunities
  • Conduct product demonstrations for customers; focused on their needs and use cases
  • Close customers and onboard them to Skimmer Billing
  • Leverage Hubspot to manage all sales activities
  • Report to the Director of Operations on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a sourcing or closing sales role
  • Experience mentoring and coaching other sales professionals
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques
  • Experience with CRM software (Hubspot)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • We have a preference for Austin based talent but are open to remote talent
