Are you looking to take your sales leadership career to the next level and play a key role in one of our fastest growing segments? We are seeking a Sales Manager to join Thomson Reuters' dynamic team within our Confirmation product suite. This ambitious & qualified person will lead continued growth across our small audit firm and audit desk segments. The responsibilities include accountability to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales and growth targets as well as increasing market share and response rates within assigned accounts. You will lead a team of Client Executives and Sales Executives to desired outcomes and objectives working closely and reporting to the Director, North America Sales.

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Sales Manager, you will:
  • Lead a team of 5-10 sales reps as a player/coach helping build & expand relationships across audit firms, financial institutions, & asset verification requestors
  • Create and implement a strategy to increase our network adoption of Audit Confirmations & Asset Verification solutions delivering incremental revenue
  • Actively contribute to and work responsibly in a team environment, collaborating with selling partners and team members as appropriate
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of products, solutions, and services within the Confirmation offering
  • Identify leads and prospects working alongside your team, other sales leaders, and internal counterparts
  • Present to leadership on the progress and outcomes your team is making to grow the business and deliver a "best in class" experience
  • Ensure salesforce.com is utilized for all client updates and is the central repository for key client data (prospecting, opportunities, revenue, next steps)
  • Work with marketing to drive strategic initiatives, programs, messaging, and campaigns within region
  • All other duties as assigned


About You:

You're a fit for the Sales Manager role if you have:
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years in a successful team lead or sales management role
  • Prior field management experience (highly preferred)
  • A detail/process-oriented and data-focused background
  • High degree of integrity and ethical foundation
  • Service orientation and experience with professional client presentations
  • A track record of being a supportive and empathetic leader
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated experience conducting online sales presentations and demos
  • Excellent verbal and written skills to effectively work with various departments and stakeholders across multiple levels
  • The ability to adapt in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment with a "Win as a Team" approach
