Job Summary
The Sales Manager at Senior HealthCare Direct, an AmeriLife affiliate, will lead a team of licensed Medicare Sales Agents selling new Medicare policies through outbound sales campaigns.

This leadership position will be responsible for meeting all Medicare and Ancillary required sales goals for their team while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Job Description

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Plans and directs the training of new Sales Agents
  • Supervises, coaches, directs, and motivates Sales Agents to meet sales quotas and productivity metrics
  • Completes 15 Sales Agent call observations each week, using Agent coaching sheet and reviewing with Sales Agent real time
  • Reviews and distributes Agent Productivity Report daily, providing timely feedback to each Agent on performance; Analyzes and trends team sales and productivity performance.
  • Documents all performance issues in accordance with Human Resources guidelines
  • Leads team huddles, meetings, and trainings to disseminate key information to Sales Agents
  • Evaluates Sales Agent effectiveness and performance on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis through one on ones and formal performance reviews. Takes swift and appropriate corrective action when necessary.
  • Participates in management trainings offered by the company
  • Ensures CMS compliance with all sales and enrollment processes
  • Adheres to all company policies
  • Handles and resolves customer complaints


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proven track record of sales success in Medicare or related field
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize key activities to drive sales performance
  • Ensures Sales Agents have the required tools, knowledge, and resources to achieve sales goals
  • Ability to motivate, encourage, and empower Sales Agents to maximize their talent potential
  • Designs and implements performance and professional development plans for each Sales Agent, highlighting strengths and areas of opportunity
  • Demonstrates a high level of personal integrity in the workplace to include the following:
    • A consistent work ethic including sound judgement, honesty, and dependability
    • Placing the needs of the customer/prospect above all else
    • Dealing with any conflict professionally
    • Taking responsibility for actions
    • Treating co-workers, customers, and prospects with dignity and respect

  • Ability to deliver tough and constructive feedback to Sales Agents in a timely manner

  • Demonstrates teamwork by working well with others during conversations, projects, meetings, and other collaborations
  • Shares best practices with peers to foster a continuous improvement environment and "out of the box" thinking to drive sales results
  • Develops and manages team contests to incent and drive sales performance
  • Completes other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A proven track record of sales and/or leadership success
  • State Health Agent License or the ability to pass the State Health Agent License exam within four weeks of employment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills


Preferred Qualifications
  • Medicare knowledge and experience
  • Call Center Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
