Position Overview:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team at Velocity Works. This includes setting sales targets, developing and implementing sales strategies, and coaching and mentoring team members to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will have experience in the staffing industry and will be able to leverage that experience to drive sales growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives
  • Set and achieve sales targets on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base
  • Coach and mentor team members to improve their sales skills and performance
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that customer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide regular reports on sales activity and performance to the management team

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a sales manager or similar role
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience in the staffing industry is required
  • Experience in software development consulting is a plus

Measurable:

  • Weekly: Meeting or exceeding individual and team sales targets.
  • Monthly: Increase in new business opportunities and customer base.
  • Quarterly: Consistently meeting or exceeding company sales targets and achieving overall company goals.
