Sales Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team at EKN Engineering, a civil engineering and technology consulting firm offering solutions tailored for utility companies, specifically in power generation, transmission, and distribution. As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth, building client relationships, and expanding our footprint in the utility sector and beyond.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective strategies to identify and acquire new clients within the utility industry, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Direct and support collaborative sales efforts and contribute toβ―all stages of the sales process.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead in the civil engineering and technology consulting space for utility companies.
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with technical teams to create compelling proposals and presentations that showcase our capabilities and solutions tailored to the utility sector.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts, track performance metrics, and report on sales activities to senior management.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including project managers and engineers, to ensure seamless delivery of services and exceed client expectations.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build a strong network within the utility sector.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the civil engineering and technology consulting sector, with a focus on utility companies.
- Strong understanding of the utility industry and its unique challenges is preferred.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
