Sales Manager

We are looking for an experienced sales manager who can build and lead a team of high caliber associates while managing the floor’s sales process and working directly with customers and the sales team. Their job is to ensure that the sales process is followed correctly and assist salespeople in reaching the next step when necessary.

The ideal candidate will be sales and team-oriented, display strong attention to detail, and maintain professionalism at all times. If you have experience and the ability to recruit, train, and motivate a sales team, we encourage you to apply!

What we need you to bring to work

  • Knowledge of CRM software
  • Effective Communication
  • Experience and knowledge of finance operations
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven record of motivating staff

Responsibilities

  • Run Day to Day Operations of the dealership
  • Interact with all dealership departments
  • Inventory Management
  • Ensure that the sales process is followed correctly
  • Assist salespeople in closing deals
  • Interact with customers
  • Monitor customer interactions and actions as necessary
  • Work with the sales teams to make sure all tasks are completed and updated within the CRM.
  • Conduct sales training including, but not limited to, procedural training, skillset training, phone training, and objection training
  • Responsible for the customers, “Wow Factor.” Make sure that every customer receives the full “Colton Experience”
  • Think outside the box to try to make every deal happen

Education and/or Experience

  • Previous experience as a people manager preferably in a retail environment. RV, Automotive, Implement, Heavy Equipment or like type industries can be a plus.
  • Experience and knowledge of leading and motivating teams consisting of 10-20 people

Compensation

Compensation is based on experience and ranges $100k+

Founded in 1962 by Bill Colton in Buffalo NY, Colton Auto started as a craftsman company specializing in custom interiors in antique cars, vans as well as building custom upholstery.

In 1992 Colton took on their first new RVs; Gulfstream trailers and Rockwood motor homes.

By 2001 Colton RV built a new facility on the Niagara Falls Boulevard location and was able to expand at this location by acquiring its surrounding properties of more than 15 acres.

The Colton team was able to double sales within a period of 3 years.

Colton RV now has three retail locations: North Tonawanda, Orchard Park, and Wind Gap, PA as well as a service center in Blasdell.
