The Power Quality (PQ) division at Eaton Electrical provides power management solutions including uninterruptable power supplies (UPS's), surge protective devices, power distribution units (PDU's), remote monitoring, software, power factor correction, airflow management, rack enclosures and services. We strive for continued success in leveraging technical innovation to develop next-generation solutions.

We are looking for a Data Center Sales Manager to manage key accounts and drive business development for the data centre segment across Australia. Reporting to the Segment Lead, this is a stand-alone role managing and growing sales of UPS, and monitoring software, as well as commissioning, maintenance, and service agreements.

Key Duties:

  • Manage and grow the Data Centre segment across Australia by building strong relationships with current and new customers, fostering long-term relationships.
  • Business development of new clients and pursue new opportunities.
  • Prepare quotes, participate in tenders, and negotiate contracts with customers.
  • Ensure compliance with Eaton policies and ethical requirements with Australian laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience in sales and account management preferably in the electrical industry focusing on data center segment.
  • Knowledge of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS).
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with a drive to purse new business opportunities leading to growth.
