This role is focused on driving strategic growth within a rapidly evolving digital pathology market, helping expand the adoption of advanced diagnostic solutions that directly impact cancer care. You will lead regional sales execution while shaping commercial strategy, building strong relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, and enabling teams to deliver on ambitious revenue goals. Operating in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment, you will guide and develop a team of sales professionals and solution architects. The position combines strategic leadership with hands-on market engagement, requiring strong business acumen and deep understanding of capital sales in the life sciences or healthcare space. You will play a critical role in accelerating innovation adoption across hospital systems and laboratory networks. This is a high-impact role where your leadership directly contributes to improving diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes.
Accountabilities
In this role, you will lead regional commercial strategy and execution for digital pathology solutions, ensuring consistent revenue growth and market expansion. You will manage sales performance, coach teams, and strengthen relationships with key healthcare decision-makers while aligning execution with organizational goals.
- Lead regional sales strategy execution to achieve and exceed revenue, margin, and market share targets
- Manage, coach, and develop sales specialists and solution architects to improve performance and effectiveness
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, including hospital leadership and pathology departments
- Develop and implement accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management using CRM tools such as Salesforce
- Recruit, train, and develop sales talent to strengthen regional capability and performance
- Drive adoption of standardized sales processes and implementation frameworks across the region
- Collaborate with internal teams to support product positioning, strategic accounts, and market expansion initiatives
- 5+ years of relevant sales experience, preferably in capital equipment or healthcare technology
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Proven experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting, and regional performance targets
- Strong background in contract negotiation and enterprise-level selling in matrixed environments
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior healthcare stakeholders, including C-suite executives
- Prior team leadership or sales management experience preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills
- Willingness to travel 50–75% across the assigned territory
- Competitive base salary range: $140,000 – $200,000 plus bonus/incentive opportunities
