Hiring rate/range: $95,000 - $105,000, earning up to a bonus at an annual target of up to 40% of base salary, paid quarterly.
Actual compensation offer to candidates may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between the base and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at the offer.
Work Location: Our Denver office is open, and we require all local staff to be in the office a minimum 2 days per week.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, Salaried role. Overtime may be required on occasion to support business needs.
Summary/Objective:
The role of the Sales Manager- Growth Accounts is to drive long-term strategic and programmatic sales growth with your assigned client portfolio of growth accounts, as well as oversee order fulfillment and client support escalations. You will be responsible for developing client accounts from a growth classification to a key account of Travelers Haven. This will involve researching your clients’ company/industry, understanding their past work with us, creating relationships with key client decision-makers, understanding their future on-demand housing needs, and driving your client portfolio towards contract agreements. Sales Managers need to collaborate effectively with the Sales Manager team, Housing Consultants (HCs) who are assigned to your client portfolio, and other leaders within the organization.
Your success will be based on the ability to generate revenue growth within your client portfolio. To increase profitability, you must inspire client retention, identify new opportunities, upsell business, and win sales through proactive account management and quarterly business reviews (QBRs). Direct communication with the Manager of Account Managers regarding the HC team performance and focus areas for daily huddles will be imperative to the success of your client accounts. This role requires a results-oriented, strategic seller with the ability to establish lasting relationships with clients, as well a team player who can successfully orchestrate your clients’ needs to relevant TH Associates.
Responsibilities:
- Review prior year blue sheets, contracts/statements of work, and QBRs to work with the Director of Account Management on setting goals for the next year.
- Read quarterly earnings reports for publicly traded companies, review earnings reports, and research client/industry news to understand their business needs.
- Identify key decision-makers within your client portfolio, building rapport to create and develop long-lasting relationships.
- Execute daily outbound efforts to expand existing accounts.
- Utilize strong time management skills to balance the needs of a large client portfolio, prioritizing the largest areas of opportunity for Travelers Haven.
- Continually identify and grow opportunities within your portfolio, as well as collaborate with HCs on opportunities to win more business.
- Collaborate with other Sales Managers and HCs to share best practices and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Create and present monthly/quarterly business reviews with clients, visiting client sites or hosting clients to our office.
- Provide exceptional customer service, acting as an advocate for your clients.
- Act as a liaison between internal departments and your clients, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our products and services.
- Utilize analytical skills and professional communication when unexpected issues occur, de-escalating the situation and finding a mutually beneficial solution.
- Represent Travelers Haven at client events and speaking engagements.
Required Education & Experience:
- 3+ years of professional account management experience.
- Ability to use a consultative sales approach to identify growth opportunities.
- Strong, professional communication skills via phone/email.
- Excellent presentation skills, adjusting to your audience.
- Ability to empathize with clients and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Thorough attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A sense of urgency to complete deliverables in a timely manner.
- Ability to prioritize competing requests.
- Negotiating and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of Salesforce, or similar CRM.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Experience in hospitality or relocation a plus
Essential Functions:

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- No direct reports but acts as a team lead and mentor for HCs assigned to your client portfolio.
