Sales Manager - SMB Growth Team - Existing OLI Sales

About the Role:
In this opportunity as a Sales Manager you will:
- Lead the up-sell of industry-leading online legal research and software products and solutions through a consultative-based sales approach to maximize NRR (Net Revenue Retention) and sales growth.
- Manage team to meet (and exceed) targeted sales and NRR goals
- Partner effectively with Customer Success Managers to support, coach and enhance team partnerships
- Develop and manage the pipeline strategy and effectively manage weekly forecasting reviews in Xactly and SFDC.
- Assist team in pipeline building activities including collaborating with SDR teams, data analytic teams, and CSE teams. Lead pipeline development activity including monthly meetings and/or campaign management.
- Lead team to be digital-first and provide continual feedback and information on products and processes
- Continually monitor the sales activities of direct reports through call monitoring, coaching, activity review and other measures to ensure customers are receiving prompt, courteous and efficient service
- Collaborate and partner with sales support channels to enable the maximum opportunity to successfully attain goals
- Proactively identify and respond to issues in the department that affect teamwork and goal attainment. Provide innovative and creative solutions, in addition to leveraging peers, in the resolution process
- Counsel and provide guidance to team members with employee relations situations and performance management concerns
- Work with recruiting staff and Human Resources to attract and hire the best possible candidates for open positions
- Conduct annual performance and salary reviews for team members
- Work with organizations throughout Thomson Reuters to ensure customer accounts are handled efficiently and accurately and customer issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Maintain a working knowledge of company products, customer promotions and marketing efforts within business
- Build rapport and relationships with internal and external customers through prompt, courteous, efficient, and professional service
- Identify gaps and other opportunities to improve sales and NRR attainment capabilities.
- Adhere to ethical standards contained in the Thomson Reuters Code of Conduct while servicing customers and meeting department goals
- Assume other responsibilities as required or requested by Leadership
About You:
You're a fit for the role of Sales Manager if you have:
- B.S. in business or related area preferred; 5+ years' experience with successful sales in Business to Business marketplace, 8+ year preferred
- Sales management experience or experience in a sales-related leadership role preferred
- Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding objectives, revenue targets and sales targets
- Disciplined, data-driven and deliberate approach to customer success
- Demonstrate understanding and successful history of consultative-based selling
- Ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation
- Exceptional oral communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to interact effectively with a professional client base and convey a professional demeanor during all customer exchanges
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and technology aptitude for internal business systems
- Omni-channel business experiences preferred
- Experience with training, managing, coaching and developing a value-based sales process oriented team, preferred

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states (CA, CO, CT, NV, WA) and/or remote. The target total cash compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $182,000 - $338,000. This is inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive. Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
