Job Summary:
The Sales and Marketing Contract Administrator will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. This individual will ensure all commercial agreements in rail, trucking, and sales are properly cataloged in the contract library. This person will conduct audits of all agreements and pricing entered into the MyPE Sharepoint site for existence, alignment, and execution in conjunction with the sales team. Furthermore, this person is directly responsible for the content and alignment of all pricing agreements and commercial contracts which support the business execution of Plastic Express and will support sales and business development for all pricing renewals and expiring contracts ensuring each is addressed in ample time to meet expiration dates. Expiring contracts, agreements, and pricing are addressed and renewed timely and accurately. This individual will facilitate new customer set up in all PE information systems ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Essential Functions/Duties:

  • Creation of pricing agreements, contracts, and amendments under the guidance of sales offering with timeliness and accuracy.
  • Controls and manages sales contract library for all rail and commercial agreements in alignment with corporate governance.
  • Ensures all pricing quoted and accepted is documented with an appropriate agreement with the customer or railroad.
  • Facilitates new contract review & execution in conjunction within the established gateway and approval protocols.
  • Facilitates all contract and pricing agreement renewals timely and efficiently within the established gateway and approval protocols.
  • Facilitates all agreement notifications as required in conjunction with sales and business development team.
  • Oversees utilization of DocuSign for all commercial contracts.
  • Manages Sales and Marketing external communications regarding price, service offerings, and other industry related communications.
  • Support Sales and Marketing Team as required with reports, communications, marketing, and customer coordination.


Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:

  • Must possess 5 years of previous experience working in a sales or sales service group


Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
  • 7 years of experience in administration, customer service, or sales service


Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

  • Demonstrated organizational and analytical skills to develop processes that minimize errors and produce reliable results.
  • Acute attention to detail and interpretive and critical thinking to analyze large amounts of data out of systems for audits.
  • Analytical skills to create and evaluate business performance to forecast.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, organizational skills, strong analytical abilities for planning, forecasting, contract administration, organizing workloads and department demands.
  • Must possess computer proficiency in a Windows environment, with an emphasis on Excel spreadsheets and business management systems and analytics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Sharepoint, Salesforce CRM, and Docusign required.

Work Environment:
Expected to operate in an office setting with computers, phones and other office machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are fluid based on demand. Evenings and weekends may be required. Ability to remain connected even when on vacation may also be required.
Travel:
Minimal travel is required.
