Our Impact
The Impact team has fundraised $1.5M+ for social causes and organizations like the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, Ukrainian Refugees, and COVID-19 relief. With many of our content pieces, we aim to provide our readers with actionable items, directing hundreds of thousands of petition signatures to important causes such as Act for Antonio, Abortion Access, Justice for George Floyd, and many more.

Job Description
Impact is looking for a Sales & Marketing Coordinator to support our Sales & Brand Partnerships department. We're searching for a driven, entrepreneurial personality who is passionate about social justice, media sales, value-driven businesses, and content-driven partnerships. Preference will be given to those located in the NYC area. However, we are open to a remote candidate with the right qualifications and fit.
What You Will Be Doing
Media Sales:
- Assist with the creation of sales proposals, pitch decks, wrap decks, and other collaterals
- Identify and research new prospects for the sales team to target, conduct initial outreach, and qualify leads for @impact and @environment
- Manage insertion orders, contracts, invoicing, and other administrative tasks related to the sales process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce to track leads, prospects, and deals
- Potential to manage smaller deals with full autonomy, including negotiating terms and closing
Marketing:
- Coordinate with editorial and design teams to develop high-quality mock-ups and final products for content partnerships
- Brainstorm and develop creative content ideas that align with brand partners' objectives and resonate with our audiences
- Help develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote across social media channels and other platforms
General Support:
- Manage the brand partnerships inbox and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
- Liaise with brand partners to build and maintain positive relationships
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activity, and other relevant topics to inform sales and marketing strategies
Salary Range for this role is $50K - $60K.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following in their background
- 1-2 years of experience in media sales, advertising, marketing, or partnerships
- Knowledge of advertising sales and account management
- Experience at a leading publisher, social media platform, agency, or digital player
- Knowledge of social platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Snap, and the latest social ad products
- Knowledge of value-driven brands and marketing campaigns
- Familiarity with Salesforce, MediaRadar, and Figma is a plus
