SALES & MARKETING COORDINATOR

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator's role with ASTOUND entails supporting the sales team in attaining monthly and annual targets through proposal writing, contract development, and effective communication with new and existing clients, external distributors, representatives, and agents. A Sales Coordinator resolves all complex inquiries from clients and ensures customer satisfaction. The Sales Coordinator reports to the VP, Client Partnerships, or their designee and works with the marketing department as it relates to supporting the sales team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents and communicating relevant information
- Creation and distribution of presentations and supporting documents to help the sales team generate business leads
- Ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment or materials
- Help organize and maintain digital assets
- Work with and hire photographers and videographers as needed for events
- Help organize and maintain the company library of digital platforms and passwords
- Respond to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested
- Monitor the team's progress, identify shortcomings, and propose improvements
- Assist in the preparation and organizing of promotional material or events
- Attend essential sales training meetings and develop an understanding of all the company's services and products
- Establish active communication and engagement with client partnership and sales team members to ensure that projects and workflows are processed promptly
- Handle basic Salesforce administrative functions including reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks.
- Completes ongoing extracurricular research, training, and other activities to keep apprised of the latest industry trends and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with sales managers and their clients to maintain existing relationships while helping to create and build new client relationships.
- Providing sales and administrative support through various duties such as making calls to vendors, managing calendars, scheduling site visits, etc.
- Supporting the sales team in attaining sales targets
- Preparing monthly, weekly, or daily sales analysis as instructed
- Input new sales inquiries into Salesforce and update program files in the database as needed
- Coordinating and responding to all requests for internal meetings
- Assisting in the implementation of sales strategy as prepared by the Client Partnership team
- Create proposals and contracts that accurately reflect the services requested. This includes: word processing, creative writing, costing, and research
- Inspire your team and influence them to perform at their best each and every day; this will ultimately determine the success of the Client Partnerships (Sales) organization.
- Maintain a positive mindset, encourage teamwork, and act as an impeccable brand ambassador for ASTOUND
- Willingness to travel within North America and overseas
- Other Duties as assigned including support of the marketing team for sales-related matters
DESIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or Communications
- Intermediate-level [JS1] [VS2] PowerPoint skills and intermediate-level Excel and Word skills
- Excellent persuasive communication skills
- Passionate, hard worker, and well-organized professional with the power to prioritize and multitask
- Should exert sound judgment, and discretion and preserve the confidentiality
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Good liaison with all other department members
- Pays attention to detail
- Flexible to work during non-business hours
- Able to operate in different work conditions such as on-site, off-site
- Able to work independently
- Can work well in a fast-paced environment
- Self-Starter who is highly organized, proactive, and motivated[JS3] [JS4] [JS5]
- General troubleshooting capabilities are a must. We use many systems on a daily basis
