AlertMedia is seeking a Sales & Marketing Operations Intern to join our revenue operations team as a summer intern. We're on the lookout for a data-savvy individual proficient in Excel (Pivot tables & V-lookups) and deeply passionate about data and the role it plays in driving business decisions. This person will work 32 - 40 hours a week during our summer internship program.  

What you get to do every day: 

• Support Sales and Marketing Operations: Assist in the day-to-day operational tasks to ensure the sales and marketing teams function efficiently, including data management and process optimization. 
• CRM Management: Help maintain the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. This may involve entering data, updating records, and ensuring that the sales team has accurate and up-to-date information. 
• Reporting: Assist in the creation of reports and dashboards for the sales and marketing team and management. This includes daily, weekly, or monthly reports on metrics, pipeline status, and other key performance indicators (KPIs). 
• Process Improvement: Work on identifying bottlenecks in the sales and marketing process and suggest improvements. This could involve researching best practices and helping to implement new systems or procedures. 
• Work closely with various sales and marketing functions to assist with data analytics projects.
• Undertake a dedicated data project over summer.
• Conduct market analysis and research. 
• Fulfill various tasks as needed based on business goals.  

What you bring to the role: 

• Current college student studying business, or a related field  
• Passion for data and strong Excel skills (Pivot tables & V-lookups) 
• Strong attention to detail 
• Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
• Proficient in MS Office   
• Knowledge of Salesforce a plus   
• Commitment of 32+ (not to exceed 40) hours during a normal business week 
• Must be able to work a hybrid position, 3 days a week in our state of the art downtown Austin, Texas headquarters
