POSITION SUMMARY

  • This role is responsible for effective communications between Sales / Sales Operations and all sales users and related stakeholders supporting Vertiv North America commercial operations. Such communication includes formal Policy and operational matters like Market Memos, but also includes communications of sales office and sales user changes, directories and contact sheets, and manufacturer representative contract renewals. This position is also responsible for updating the Sales Portal and improving sales system customer-facing documents. While not responsible for creating the source information, this role is critical for reviewing and improving communication language for quality, clarity, and consistency. This role is responsible for the system on-boarding and removal process for all external sales users with access to Vertiv secure systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Point of Contact for LVO Sales Office and Associate Data: Responsible for maintaining accurate Vertiv North America external (LVO) sales office and associate data for Vertiv systems access, office and associate listings, office and product-specific email distribution lists, customer/vendor data, and additional sales apps and processes as needed
  • LVO Sales Representative Agreement Renewal Process: Support sales executive and legal teams in updating, generating, uploading, tracking, and maintaining individual representative agreements
  • Manage Market Memo Process: Collaborate with memo originators, marketing / legal team members, technical sales teams, and sales executives to generate well-written and easily understood memos for communicating with internal and external (LVO) sales teams
  • Manage Sales Policy Update Process: Work with sales policy owners and approvers in creating, updating, and maintaining documents current and expired sales policy records pursuant to Quality management systems document control requirements
  • Sales Operations Survey Process: Design, implement and analyze periodic surveys of sales and related stakeholder users of sales systems for understanding system user perspectives and areas for improvement
  • Sales Tools Output Document Design Process: Review templates for Proposals, Submittals, Order Acknowledgements and similar documents for grammatical accuracy, clarity and quality, working with various SME's from each area and system
  • Sales Portal Content Management: Ensure documents and information maintained in the Sales Portal is current, correct, of high quality and complete. Work with appropriate content owners and IT in support of this process

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in communications or general business
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to self-manage multiple projects and work streams
  • Planning, time management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using analytics tools for data management
  • Ability to assume responsibility and recommend process improvements as needed

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Experience with CRM and quoting applications
  • Experience in managing survey execution
  • Experience in process improvement initiatives

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in communications, business, or related field
