Job Description

A Sales Operations Specialist assists clients and the Sales Team through each step of the sales process, helping them resolve any concerns or questions they may have while processing, tracking and assisting with the sales execution. This individual is a key member of the Sales, marketing and customer success team in support for our Sales Team. S/he partners with Sales, Marketing, and other Operational groups to solve complex problems each day, ensuring our sales organization has what they need to be successful. This person builds relationships within the Sales organization and delivers consistent support to the field while managing projects to enhance our processes, systems, and data to remain simple and effective.

About the Role:

In this opportunity as Sales Operation Specialist you will:
  • Support Sales Organization: Own the resolution of inbound requests from the Sales organization and prospect customers including CRM reporting and data updates; • Provides revenue based reports for sales - new business and upsell opportunities weekly to management; Reports are configured to match business KPIs and key summaries needing analysis for business decisions
  • Planning and Execution of Processes: Assist in the planning and execution of processes, systems, and data projects; Maintaining an accessible and organized filing system for sales and administrative professionals; Maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics; Establish and document business processes
  • Administrative Tasks: Completes administrative tasks as directed by Sales Operations management, which may include: Scheduling internal sessions between multiple departments; Scheduling external sessions with key stakeholders, sales, marketing, customer success and product team; Performing data entry duties in regards to metrics, sales figures and other key data
  • Event Coordination: Will coordinate 100-200 meetings each quarter with internal and external stakeholders; Responsible for coordination of key conferences and company events in conjunction with marketing, sales and customer success team; Participates in complex projects that affect a Business Unit or regional area
  • Project Work: Track project budgets and expenditures, monitor transaction controls and costs against budgets; Set up project and work breakdown structures; Review contracts, cost proposals and contract supplements; Establish and maintain communication services across business units or from the project team to the organization


About You:

You're a fit for the role if you have:
  • 3 -5 years' experience in sales operations, vendor management, or proposal development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in CRM tool or ticketing system. ConnectWise experience preferred.
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Goal driven team player.
  • Ability to deal with changing priorities to complete tasks in a short period of time.
  • Able to work with people of different personalities and temperaments, maintaining focus on customer satisfaction, company goals and moving towards successful completion.
