THE OPPORTUNITY:

At Salesloft, this role is pivotal to our company’s success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing Revenue Operations Team. You’ll be involved in the key processes and operations of our rapidly growing sales team. 


On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for crucial operations within the Revenue organization. Specifically you will:

  • Manage territory reassignments, including account, lead, and opportunity ownership updates, becoming an expert in our go-to-market strategy
  • Research prospect and customer account business details and hierarchy and 
  • Investigate data discrepancies and act as arbiter in Rules of Engagement disputes
  • Assist with data and system hygiene maintenance
  • Take an active role in any core sales operations tasks 
  • Play a key role in annual planning, pulling and analyzing CRM data
  • Work with sales representatives, sales managers, and sales support teams to make updates and troubleshoot issues in our CRM reports

We are seeking a bias-towards-action, results-oriented, motivated and strategic operations professional who can collaborate cross-functional while remaining laser-focused on impacting our revenue numbers.  Specifically, you will play a pivotal role in helping us scale in this next phase of rapid growth as a revenue organization.

THE SKILLSET::

  • 1-2 years experience in sales, sales operations, marketing operations, revenue operations, finance, or data operations
  • Curious, quick learner, who loves fast paced environments
  • Energetic, personable, and comfortable working under tight deadlines
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Proficiency with Google sheets or Excel
  • Excellent problem solving skills and proven track record of getting things done
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable manipulating data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively


WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:

:

  • Attend Salesloft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our Salesloft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique 
  • Begin 1:1’s with your manager, understand your 30-60-90 plan, and meet & shadow current members of the Salesloft team
  • Set your OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them
  • Meet key partners in Strategy and Operations, Sales, Customer Experience, Finance, Marketing, Executives, etc. - they will be key relationships for you
  • Become familiar with our CRM through training, self-study, and shadowing
  • Begin handling territory assignment requests

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:


  • Handle the majority of territory assignment requests
  • Understand our territory methodology and territory tool
  • Become familiar with Salesloft’s GTM process and corresponding Rules of Engagement
  • Learn our CRM data structure and how reports are pulled through self-study and shadowing
  • Execute data uploads in support of org changes, data maintenance, and other ongoing processes
  • Supplement existing documentation with your learnings of processes, workflows, and policies

 

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:


  • Own major updates to the Rules of Engagement document, working with stakeholders to rollout changes
  • Act as main arbiter for segment disputes, working with your manager to resolve complex issues
  • Manage all components of the territory reassignment process including how accounts, opportunities, and leads are assigned
  • Become a super-user of territory tool, Varicent, and propose process improvements as needed
