Sales Operations Analyst
Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Operations Analyst will focus on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the global sales teams by maximizing the adoption and consumption of the Sales Technology stack, including but not limited to CRM, Xant, ZoomInfo, Highspot, etc. This person will partner with Sales Enablement to identify and map out best practices and templates for global leverage including developing the necessary sales management reporting to track and validate. The Sales Operations Analyst will focus on maximizing efficiencies and processes relating to the front end and back end of Minitab’s sales tech stack. As the primary point of contact in Sales Operations for our CRM, this person will be responsible for ad hoc reporting requests, building dashboards/advanced searches, supporting with data integrity issues, etc. The ideal candidate will know SQL or have an interest in learning SQL.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in the full application life cycle: assessment, design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, optimization, and support for Minitab’s CRM and all sales technology stack.
- Master Minitab’s CRM and its workflows. Understand the innerworkings of our tech stack and how it ties to our business.
- Direct day to day overall administrative management of Minitab’s Sales Technology stack.
- Measure, manage, and maximize utilization and effectiveness of the entire sales tech stack
- Develop, optimize, and support data analysis frameworks to facilitate operational reporting and sales management dashboards.
- Document and communicate as needed the Sales Technology stack appropriate processes and related
- Partner with Sales Enablement to develop, update, and optimize appropriate training deployed within Minitab’s LMS application.
- Deliver, as needed, direct sales enablement sessions on the Sales Technology stack for both new hires and existing sales team members.
- Identify innovative solutions and approaches leveraging the Sales Technology stack to drive maximum level of adoption and consumption.
- Receive and respond to requests from internal global field operations leadership and sales team members for needed dashboard/report generation and ongoing process improvements.
- Receive, consolidate, and prioritize requests for future enhancements of the Sales Technology stack.
- Deploy pulse surveys to understand product sentiment and understanding across the sales organization for all tech stacks tools, changes, trainings, etc.
- Develop strong relationships with Minitab’s assigned Account Managers/Customer Success Managers from the suppliers of our Sales Technology stack, including attending appropriate user group meetings and identifying new modules/enhancements that should be considered for future deployment.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform other duties and carry out additional assignments and responsibilities as business needs arise in support of the Global Field Operations OKRs.
Participate in special projects as directed by the manager of Global Sales Operations.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics and/or Information Systems, or closely related discipline or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of, and experience with CRM and Sales Technology stacks (preferably cloud based), is
- Strong understanding of sales concepts and KPI’s
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Strong experience in analytics, requirements gathering, solution design, and
- Understanding of core business processes within B2B technology environment and optimization of UX or sales user experience flows.
