Job Description

The Sales Operations Analyst works closely with Enterprise Sales Operations team and the Sales leadership team to design, enhance and own the timely delivery of operational analytics that enable sales activities and sales effectiveness. The Sales Operations Analyst provides insightful analytics and actionable insights to the sales leadership team. This role executes on projects, programs and day-to-day duties that are based off of the framework of reporting and analysis, helping to support strategic thinking of the key stake holders of the Enterprise organization.

About the Role

In this opportunity as Sales Operations Analyst, you will:

  • Provide insightful analytics and actionable insights to the sales leadership team in a proactive manner by spotting trends, questioning data and asking questions to understand underlying drivers.
  • Conduct statistical data analysis and communicate insights from trends to help drive strategic decisions
  • Utilize salesforce.com, Business Object - Snowflake and Tableau reporting capabilities to provide analysis and actionable metrics for sales leadership. Build dashboards and reports across sales channels.
  • Conduct deep dives to identify trends, risks and areas for improvement for the sales leadership team
  • Contribute sophisticated insight based on grounded analytics to current business challenges and anticipate reporting needs
  • Analyze data and metrics to tell a story that drives sales insights and action.

About You

You're a fit for the role of Sales Operations Analyst if your background includes:

  • BS or BA preferred in Finance, Accounting or Business; or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years experience in business or financial analytics roles with exceptional project management skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Access
  • Technical aptitude including knowledge of salesforce.com, Business Objects - Snowflake, Tableau and Alteryx a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to team with partners from various business units
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong financial modeling knowledge
  • Past experience with problem solving and communicating with sales channels, customers, and internal management
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, territory planning and salesforce.com
