nCino's Sales Operations Analyst - Deal Desk works in tandem with a cross-functional group - Direct Sales, Legal, Finance and IT - to optimize our sales process, provide critical business intelligence and reporting and maintain sales-related aspects of our existing Salesforce.com environment. As an integral part of the nCino sales engine, your efforts will maximize benefits of prospecting efforts, provide tools and analysis to structure complex transactions, and provide leadership with accurate reporting around efficacy of marketing and sales efforts.

Responsibilities:
Deal Desk
  • Assist the Sales team in the structuring of complex deals while adhering to the company policies, processes, and systems
  • Develop and maintain pricing models which allow the Sales team to communicate complex, non-standard deal terms throughout the organization and with customers
  • Become an expert on the opportunity-to-cash cycle, including operations, order processing, fulfillment, revenue recognition and legal contracts
  • Maintain a customer service orientation, including the ability to deliver multiple projects with high customer satisfaction in a rapidly changing environment
  • Provide support/analysis on new product pricing and pricebook refresh efforts


Sales Analytics
  • Partner with company leadership, sales leadership and sales reps to track and analyze sales and marketing key performance indicators and metrics
  • Create, maintain and optimize sales dashboards and reports and pricing tools to track progress toward company goals


Sales Operations
  • Liaison with key members of the nCino team (direct sales, finance, legal, IT) during the sales process to maintain speed and consistency throughout the process
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the sales process to improve customer experience


Salesforce.com Administration
  • Assist in optimizing sales-specific functionality within nCino's internal Salesforce.com environment
  • Contribute and/or lead internal data cleansing efforts with external sources that provide updated data regarding prospects and nCino's target market


Qualifications:
Required
  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years comparable experience
  • Strong research, analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Financial modeling skills, including advanced Excel
  • Highly professional with strong communication skills
  • Ability and desire to learn Salesforce.com administration and to attain Salesforce.com certifications


Preferred
  • Degree concentrating in Finance or Accounting
  • Knowledge of Sales Key Performance Indicators and SaaS business model
  • Salesforce Administration experience or Salesforce.com Certification
  • Basic knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition for SaaS business model
  • Salesforce CPQ/MDQ experience
