Job Description
Responsibilities
- Utilize quantitative and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Serve as a liaison between local stakeholders and TEL Japan business office and factory.
- Influence internal and external customers to resolve escalations.
- Monitor KPIs and work to consistently meet targets.
- Maintains database of order activity for assigned product lines and customers.
- Effectively communicate in a timely manner to internal and external customers in an international, multi-cultural environment.
- Develop professional meeting material pertaining to relevant deliveries as required.
- Optimize manufacturing schedules to maintain monthly and fiscal budgets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to quality and logistics, such as: export/import issues, forecast errors and changes, critical orders, and delayed shipments.
- Independently oversee successful delivery of orders throughout entire lifecycle of shipments.
- Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
- Responsible for key areas on the supplier report card.
- Complete tasks accurately in an independent, self-motivated manner while adhering to team and personal objectives.
- Attend meetings after normal work hours according to business needs.
- Participate in business process improvement efforts.
- Work on multiple tactical and strategic projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Cleanly manage expedite orders and PO cancellations.
- Create and implement strategies to maximize value according to department goals.
- Identifies departmentโs strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement.
- Lead meetings with internal and external customers.
- Represent TEL in a professional manner with the customer.
- Communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
- Consistently delivers high-quality services to our stakeholders.

Typical Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of related experience; or Master's Degree without experience; or Associate's Degree with 6 years of related experience; or 10 years of experience in lieu of degree.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Demands and Work Conditions
- The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
- This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
- This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds.
- This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.
