Sales Operations Analyst Intern
Job Description
Position Summary:

In the Sales Operations Analyst Intern position, you'll support the Sales Operations team in executing on key sales operations tasks and projects. You will be responsible for performing qualitative and quantitative analysis on defined business problems and creating reporting solutions to provide visibility into sales trends and performance. In this role you will also manage daily sales operations tasks, while being a resource for process management and improvement, collaborating with team members and internal stakeholders to scope business problems and offer sound data-driven solutions and recommendations. This role may also take on ownership of larger projects and project management duties as directed by their leader.
Competencies & Skills Needed:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to build relationships and rapport quickly and continually
- Passion for delivering outrageous customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work full time during the summer (~40 hours/week) and part-time during the school year (~15-20 hours/week)
What You'll Do and Impact:
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative analysis to provide insights into cross-LOB sales performance, and use findings to make actionable recommendations to leadership and key business stakeholders
- Create and analyze reporting to support strategic sales initiatives
- Work in partnership with other team members and business stakeholders to scope new requests, and recommend effective data-driven solutions
- Provide operational support and process improvement recommendations to the sales and sales operations teams
- Collaborate and assist in day-to-day team activities to support team members
- Present project outcomes and recommendations to the team and senior leadership
- Actively participate in cross-functional teams, including engagement with management, taking on project management roles as required
Experience:
- Enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program majoring in Business, Math, or Technology
- GPA of 3.3 or higher
Additional Items of Interest:
- Previous intern or business analytics experience
- Experience using Microsoft SQL and BI Platforms (Power BI Preferred.)
- Experience using G-Suite tools and applications (Google Sheets, Google AppScript, etc.)
- Knowledge of Python, R, or other programming languages
