Job overview
The goal of this position is to provide a supervised work experience in order for you to build your expertise and proficiency, as well as to enhance your problem-solving abilities. It is the responsibility of Hutson to provide direct, on the job supervision which includes orientation of the companyโs structure, operations, policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Adhering to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior.
- Adhering to company policies governing the observation of confidentiality and the handling of confidential information.
- Assuming personal and professional responsibilities for his/her actions and activities.
- Maintaining professional relationships with company employees, customers and so forth.
- Utilizing a courteous, enthusiastic, open-minded, critical approach to policies and procedures within the profession.
- Relating and applying knowledge acquired in the academic setting to the company setting.
- Developing a self-awareness in regard to attitudes, values, behavior patterns, and so forth that influence work.
- Support management in the pursuit of corporate policies, plans, goals, and long-term objectives.
- Foster a great place to work environment, encouraging accountability, open communication, teamwork, and a commitment to serving the customer.
- Participate in all business and/or department activities related to ensuring the customer experience is positive.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

Qualifications
- Basic computer skills, internet function, and typing skills.
- Willing to learn new concepts.
- Self-motivated and eager to take on new tasks.
- Verbal and nonverbal communication skills
- The ability to work independently or with other employees.
- The ability to communicate face-to-face.
Additional requirements
- Valid DOT Medical Card is Required.
- Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Reaching, Standing, Walking, Lifting, Fingering, Grasping, Feeling, Talking, Hearing, and Repetitive Motions.
- Visual Acuity:
- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (includes inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
- The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
- The worker is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
