About the team
Sales Operations
At GBG, our Sales Operations Team is the heartbeat behind our success in our GTM structure. This group seamlessly interweaves project management, sales enablement, and sales order processes. The Sales Ops team drives efficiency by optimizing sales strategies, and ensuring that our customers experience the very best from the moment they show interest to the final stages of order fulfillment. By fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, we ensure that our sales force is empowered, well-supported, and always steps ahead in meeting the needs of our customers.
The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building and implementing sales processes, driving data-driven insights, and enhancing sales team performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and customer success, to ensure streamlined operations, effective reporting, and successful execution of sales strategies. You will succeed in this role if you are a detail-oriented self-starter with a proven track record of optimizing sales processes, and delivering results and technical requirements at a strategic and tactical level.
What you will do
Process Optimization:
- Analyze and streamline sales processes to maximize operational efficiency.
- Identify areas of improvement, remove bottlenecks, and implement process enhancements.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales workflows.
Data Analysis and Insights:
- Gather and analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Develop standardized reports and dashboards to track key sales performance metrics.
Salesforce Management:
- Configure, design, implement, and manage complex Salesforce solutions aligned with business requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess technical feasibility, and provide expert guidance on Salesforce best practices and capabilities.
- Customize Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, and approval processes to optimize sales team productivity and efficiency.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Foster collaboration between sales, marketing, finance, and customer success teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align sales operations with organizational objectives.
- Facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing across teams.
Performance Measurement and Reporting:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for tracking sales performance.
- Develop regular reports and presentations to provide insights into sales performance.
- Monitor sales metrics and performance trends, highlighting areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales operations or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of the Salesforce suite of products, sales automation tools, and analytics platforms.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Salesforce admin certification is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Results-driven with a focus on driving sales performance.
