Job Description

The Sales Operations Manager will  provide operational and technical support for our Sales and Customer Success teams. You will use your work experience and proven subject matter expertise in 3rd party CRM and Telephony applications to provide leadership and guidance in developing solutions for business needs. As an Operations Manager you will provide oversight into the organizational processes, sales performance and customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for driving continuous improvement throughout the business focusing on driving productivity and helping your business partners get their teams to adopt key processes and procedures. We are seeking an experienced, self-starter with a proactive approach to take a leading role in managing day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Utilize Atlassian Jira to triage incoming tickets and support requests from Sales & Service teams to determine severity of issue/scope of work, assign to appropriate team members and prioritize accordingly while managing against appropriate SLAs.
  • Strive to understand and solve for Sales & Service team needs by seeking to understand end goals and working together with other team members to define a path forward that can successfully meet needs within the limitations of tool sets, budgets and man power.
  • Bring your technical expertise to light by providing immediate (day one) support for telephony/VoIP needs by combining previous, real world experience with a desire to learn Amazon Connect platform basics and workflow design. (Current Salesforce and Amazon Connect administrative experience highly desired) 
  • Build an understanding of the EverQuote Sales process and connect that with a working knowledge of our B2B Salesforce implementation. Build a working knowledge of Salesforce through online training/research, professional training and hands-on learning from existing SMEs. 
  • Developing practical solutions and methodologies, developing "point-of-view" and recommendation documents that try to solve for Sales team needs or create an environment of continual improvement. 
  • Capable of presenting recommendations with confidence to build group support to quickly move work forward.
  • Lead discussions to clarify business needs and identify business requirements, functional design and process design (including scenario design, flow mapping.)

Who You Are:

  • Previous Small/Mid size B2B or Consumers Operations, IT or technical role experience  
  • Fluent knowledge and 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace (Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets, Powerpoint/Slides) 
  • 3-5 years Experience with development, implementation and day to day management of CRM systems (ie Salesforce/Hubspot) as well as cloud based telephony/VoIP systems (such as Amazon Connect/RingCentral)
  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
