Sales Operations Manager (Key Accounts)
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Operations Manager with a strong background in SPS Commerce. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy of orders for our retail clients, serve as the primary point of contact for the sales team and the warehouse, and address any issues that arise with orders. This position reports to the VP of Operations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- SPS Commerce Expertise:
- Utilize SPS Commerce to manage and enhance electronic data interchange (EDI) processes and transactions.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders, invoices, and other related documents through SPS Commerce into NetSuite.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to order accuracy. Identify order and shipping discrepancies and work with warehouse and internal teams to provide resolutions.
- Sales Operations:
- Streamline and optimize sales processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop and implement best practices, tools, and techniques to support sales objectives.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and provide actionable insights to drive improvements.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including supply/demand planning and finance, to support sales initiatives.
- Implement CPFR processes to increase visibility with forecasting and inventory planning.
- Reporting and Analytics:
- Generate and analyze reports to track sales performance, account health, and operational efficiency.
- Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior management based on data-driven insights.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales operations with a strong focus on SPS Commerce.
- Experience in integrating SPS Commerce with other systems (ERP, WMS).
- Familiarity with EDI standards and formats.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in using SPS Commerce and other order management systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
- Adaptability to changing requirements and continuous learning.
- Ability to train and mentor team members on SPS Commerce best practices.
Salary: $70,000
