The Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for driving/coordinating execution of sales support and administrative activities supporting both local and global key accounts. In this role you will support the sales team by helping them navigate seamlessly and efficiently through the processes and requirements of quote to cash activities. You will serve as a liaison for them with cross-functional departments including the Sales Administration team, business units, logistics and finance. This role reports into the Director of Sales Operations and is a new and exciting position within Advantest that will continue to grow and expand.
Key Responsibilities include:
Improve efficiency in the sales team by:
- Assisting with approval processes
- Generating and/or management of key sales reports
- Completing of new customer setup documents
- Escalation management
- Asset and Demo material tracking assistance
- Identify and support driving improvements and change in operational efficiencies
- Liaison between Sales and functional business partners such as SADM, Finance, Field Services, BU's
- Assisting with legal documentation signatures
- Build and maintain positive relationships with our customers
- Help drive adoption of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc.
- Become an expert on all sales related processes
- Assist with budgetary quotes
- Follow up with customers and business partners to ensure timeliness of required actions
- Assist with prioritization, follow up of open tasks

Requirements
Requirements:
- 3+ years of expertise in supporting a global sales team
- Strong proven written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with senior management
- Customer facing experience
- Strong problem solving and decision making
- Expertise in Microsoft 365 Suite of applications: PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, teams, etc.
- Experience in Oracle R12 and CRM preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to drive tasks to completion
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a global environment
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Some travel may be required
Additional Skills Preferred (but not required):
- Legal Assistant/paralegal experience
- IFRS/SAB101 knowledge
- Quote to Cash experience
- Knowledge of Semiconductor industry
- Forecasting experience
