Sales Operations Specialist

What You'll Do:As Sales Operations Specialist, you will be joining the Revenue Operations team in supporting a high growth, fast-paced Sales and Business Development department. In this role, you will help drive the data, insights, process, and strategies that enable Sales to run better, faster, and smarter. The work will range from building out a robust data and reporting infrastructure to engaging with senior leadership to drive significant value by providing KPI metrics. You would report to the Director of Revenue Operations and have day-to-day involvement in business critical functions.
We are looking for a self-starter to join our team, someone who has demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity, operating in a fast-growing environment, and solving problems with limited oversight. The Sales Operations Specialist will support sales across all elements of an opportunity’s quote to cash lifecycle and be responsible for the data integrity and hygiene of our CRM system.
Important tasks related to the Sales Operations Specialist are:
- Provide sales operational support, including territory management, KPI reporting, account and opportunity management, and rules of engagement decisions
- Provide Deal Desk support, such as, deal structure guidance to sales, identify and recommend changes to pricing and deal structures
- Provide ad hoc analysis on top of funnel metrics, pipeline trends, account segmentation and sales activity
- Work on strategic, organizational, and operational projects designed to increase revenue and sales productivity
- Track deals through their lifecycle, from first meeting to invoice
- Ensure all relevant sales information is captured in Salesforce
- Use initiative to drive improvements and best practices within the team
- Serves as primary point of contact to support the sales team for all questions related to Opportunity and Account Management
- Build and maintain key documentation regarding our policies, sale processes, and requirements
- A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- At least 2 years of experience with Salesforce
- Comfortable communicating with Executive level decision makers
- Strong business acumen and understanding of sales process (bookings, billings and reporting)
- A passion for managing large data sets to draw conclusions or import/export important data to Salesforce
- Excellent communicator, self-aware, transparent, collegial, and open to feedback
- Ability to multitask and prioritize at times of high volume, schedule flexibility during End of Month, End or Quarter
- 2 - 4 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent command of Excel and G-Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets)
- Prior experience in deal strategy is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Enterprise Software industry in a Deal Desk, Finance, or Sales Operations role experience preferred
- Experience with Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) systems
- Experience in a SaaS environment
