Sales Operations Specialist- Salesforce
Job Description
The CGS Salesforce Sales Operations Specialist position is a new position. This role will entail supporting CGS globally with Salesforce.com. It is a critical position as CGS migrates to a new instance of Salesforce, which is currently under development and being customized to meet the needs of the CGS business. You will be assisting with the buildout as well as coordinate data enhancements once we go live in early 2023. You will spend the majority of the day in Salesforce: reviewing, reconciling and updating data. Through your CRM support, you will be required to collaborate with various departments within CUSIP & FactSet, which include Sales, Client Services, Product Management, Operations, Compliance, Technology and Legal.

Responsibilities:
- Spearheading data collection & analysis projects using Salesforce
- Serve as the primary contact for sales reps for troubleshooting and questions about Salesforce and other tools
- Train new and existing team members on best practices and new features in Salesforce and associated tools
- Document processes and configuration of the Salesforce environment
- Build basic reports in Salesforce to assist team members
- Communicate weekly updates on new features and processes to the Sales team
- Perform data entry and data hygiene in Salesforce
- Manage and update collateral such as email templates, SMS templates, etc.
- Help sales reps execute outreach and programs such as leads and email blasts
- Participate in the CRM testing
- Complete assigned project deliverables according to project plan and expected quality
- Ensure all product documentation, FAQ's, runbooks are captured and up to date
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ and Community/Experience Cloud is a plus
- Drive opportunity data management controls, processes, and data quality
- Report creation for analytics, data quality, and ad hoc queries
- Comfortable working with large data sets
- Advanced Excel experience including VLOOKUP, nested formulas, and Pivot tables
Critical Skills:
- Drive and desire to learn and grow both technical and functional skill sets
- Effective time and task management skills
The budgeted amount range for this position in the states of Connecticut and New York is $76,000-$105,000.
