The Sales Operations Specialist II directly supports the Sales Operations and Field Sales teams through a variety of activities that enable customer acquisition, growth and satisfaction. You will operate with autonomy in prioritizing your workload and will directly support or own one or more Sales Operations service offerings (CRM, data management, pricing, commissions, etc.). You will triage and manage inbound help requests and tracking various projects. You'll be a major resource to our Sales and Customer Service teams in resolving urgent issues and will ensure accurate and timely processing of requests. You will be an active player in driving efficiency on the team and enable a broader service offering our internal and external customers, because you'll have exposure to all facets of Sales Operations.
Your key responsibilities
- Serve as the domain expert in one or more Sales Operations functions/services (CRM, data management, pricing, commissions, distributor lifecycle management, etc.)
- Manage the inbound flow of requests to the Sales Ops team, and create/assign cases to appropriate Sales Ops team member(s) for resolution
- Assist Pricing/Contracts team and Customer Service with researching and resolving pricing issues (disputes, updates, etc.)
- Assist the Commissions team with managing the distributor contract life-cycle and organizing/ tracking documentation
- Assist our Sales Ops project teams with project deliverables
- Manage critical data and customer information in our ERP and CRM systems
- Provide administrative and some analytical support to our Field Sales team, Distributors, and internal teams
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree OR High School diploma with 8+ years relevant Commercial Operations experience
- 4 years' experience in Commercial Operations (Customer Service, Sales Operations, Sales Support, Marketing)
- 3 years' experience with CRM and/or ERP systems for order entry and case management
- Mastery of the English language and strong ability to effectively communicate verbally and through written correspondence with all levels of peers and leadership at SeaSpine, distributorships, hospitals, and other vendors
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently under minimal supervisor direction
- Demonstrated ability to work creatively, prioritize and smoothly manage goals and initiatives amidst competing priorities
- Critical thinker with strong attention to detail, and ability to problem solve and establish solutions in a high-growth and fast-pace environment
Preferred
- 5-7 years' experience in Customer Service, Administration, or Sales Operations
- 4+ years servicing healthcare providers and/or patients
- 4+ years using CRM and/or ERP systems for order entry and case management
- Exposure to contracts and RFPs
- Advanced MS Excel skills (lookups, pivots, etc.)
- 2+ years in medical device or life sciences industry
