Sales Order Entry Specialist

Your Responsibilities:
- Review and verify the accuracy of order information, such as pricing, quantity, freight terms and delivery date.
- Communicate with sales and operations teams to ensure order details are correct and any issues are resolved.
- Monitor and track order status, follow-up with customers as needed to ensure timely processing of sales orders
- Help update the processes and procedures to improve the workflow and reduce manual operations and improve accuracy throughout the order entry cycle.
- Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as legal, finance, and operations, to ensure that contract terms are aligned with company objectives.
- Assist in the negotiation, and execution contracts, including master service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other types of agreements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract files and database.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of contract law and principles.
- Position requires the regular exercise of problem solving and policy procedure interpretation skills
- Ability to handle responsibilities with effective interpersonal skills and to effectively interface with others inside and outside the Company.
- Must have strong communication skills both written and oral and the ability to project manage tasks to complete requests within required deadlines.
- Will have contact with customers, consulting engineers, and company representatives regarding a variety of project types
- Position may require extended periods of operating a personal computer as a normal part of job duties.
- Position requires ability to work in a normal office environment and may require occasional exposure to production plant environment with welding, machining, and fabrication operations.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience: Associate degree in paralegal studies or experience as a legal assistant or 1-3 years of administrative work or contract review experience.
Physical Skill and Effort: Work requires a few simple, but rapid, hand operations, and simple, easy muscular movements.
Working Conditions and Hazards: Normal office conditions.
Travel: no travel is associated with this role
