HCSS, a Thoma Bravo portfolio company, is seeking a Sales Recruiter to support our rapid growth! We are the market leader in heavy civil construction software and technology solutions. Our trusted estimating, field entry, project management, safety, digital plans, fleet management, and telematics solutions improve the operations of 3,000+ companies across North America.
Reporting to the Director of Talent, the Sales Recruiter will play a critical role in growing our go-to-market organization. The Sales Recruiter will partner with sales, marketing, and other leaders throughout the organization to contribute to developing high-performing teams and prepare the business for scale. We are open to in-person (Sugar Land, TX), hybrid, and remote candidates.
Essential Functions
  • Deliver a world-class recruiting experience to both hiring managers and candidates through a proactive and people-first approach
  • Drive the end-to-end recruitment process for sales, marketing, and other customer-facing roles of varying levels
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines using tools including LinkedIn Recruiter and JazzHR
  • Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for process improvements based on talent trends and best practices
  • Ad hoc projects as needed

Minimum Requirements
  • Ability to travel to Sugar Land, Texas at least 10% of the time
  • At least 3+ years of professional recruiting experience supporting the software industry
  • Proven ability to source and successfully engage passive candidates
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on the ability to build relationships and rapport with stakeholders
  • Extensive knowledge of recruiting best practices
  • Proven ability to work directly and confidently with senior leadership
